How to paint a Cursed City Vargskyr with OSL

Games Workshop: Warpstone Glow, Moot Green, Yriel Yellow, Baharroth Blue, Blue Horror, Contrast Skeleton Horde
Vallejo: Basalt Grey, Neutral Grey, Black, Pale Grey Blue

The thing I really like about this video is that it shows how the eye reads the figure differently after each new paint layer. Initially it felt way too bright and saturated but then it came down to just the right amount. Do you in general start bright and 'darken' down?
