Halfway through the episode so I'm not sure if it's covered, but a couple of friends of mine made Knightmare Live a few years ago! Done with the blessing of Hugo Myatt, it was a stage show with ridiculously high quality props - including a giant wall puppet of the talking stone wall bloke - where one person would put on the helmet of justice and be guided through the puzzles/dungeon while getting mildly bullied by Treguard. It was incredibly well produced and dang good fun. Back when I was doing sketch comedy, my sketch group were asked to appear as guides a couple of times when it was on at the Edinburgh Fringe. Delighted to say that we guided our player through safely both times. I think it's still running - regularly appears at conventions, game expos etc. Worth having a look if anyone gets the chance!

This episode is the stuff of dreams for all your 35-40 y/o British fans. Highlight of the show for me is the kid who didn't know the difference between left and right and sidestepped the dungeoneer off a ledge.

Ho-ly shit! You guys legit unlocked a childhood memory of mine. I remember seeing maybe two episodes of Masters of the Maze when I was, maybe 7 or 8. I remember that freakin mirror man and the kid power armor. I thought that shit was the coolest! I could never recall what the show was called and now I know!

Knightmare fucking rocks. I would die before hating on something like this. -GB

I was so afraid that Kole and Gary were going to hate 11 year old me's favourite TV show, but no. Knightmare aired on a Thursday, and so Thursday was my favourite day of the week. Knightmare was my first exposure to fantasy, and I've loved fantasy ever since.
