2023-07-19 17:10:44 +0000 UTCHearing the talk about Raccoon YouTube Guy reminds me of my time at NIU in DeKalb, IL - there was a guy who became a minor sensation on campus for having a pet raccoon he'd walk around; he said he mostly did it as a way to meet girls. Long story short the guy had to put the raccoon down because it got rabies or something. Wonder if this would've intersected with Gary's time in the area and if he heard about it; if nothing else he was a big hit around the student newspaper offices where I worked.
