What Premium Shows Do You Listen To?

Hey folks, K here.

Here's a fun fact about Patreon: It's the only service in the world that doesn't tell podcasters how many times their episodes are downloaded! It's hell!

I want to know what people are listening to, for my own curiosity and to get a pulse check on what people are vibing with. So do me a favor and take a second to mark all of the shows you listen to on a regular basis*. You can select multiple items, so go nuts.

*"Regular Basis" being at least once a month for weekly shows, and once per quarter for monthly shows

Comments

Bonfireside chat was something I got super fixated on for basically all of my teens and I’m finally in a position to pay for these extra shows. Thanks in advanced for getting me through my 20s, unfilmable is super entertaining!

Jake Reiken

BSC and RLH make me excited to wake up on Sundays.

Crystal Watkins

Exquisite Suffering was the largest motivator for me to join the Patreon a while back. Abject Suffering is secretly the best show on the network but I kinda wish it wasn't a secret so I could talk to more people about it and you guys could be gazongazillionaires. I listen to everything available at $5 and dip into $10 from time to time.

Austin

Unfilmable and Adaptation Decay are two of my favorites; with BSC, I tend to go in spurts (ew) where I won't listen for a while and then devour a whole bunch at once. WOFF premium eps are just regular WOFFs for me--the backbone of the institution, as it were.

Zack Handlen

It’s a premium show. I think you have to listen on Patreon or download the rss feed to a podcast service.

TheGrizz

I listen to everything. These two are some of the most entertaining people on the planet. Unfilmable is a must and also quakstak. Bonfireside chat. Everything.

TheGrizz

I’m behind on Quack stack and unfilmable, but I’m looking forward to going back and catching up.

Ian Fredrick

Shocked and dismayed y’all don’t get stats on podcast downloads/streams. Was absolutely CERTAIN I was getting clocked every time I got the urge for a nostalgic revisit of early BSC seasons 👀

Patric Fallon

Also adding like way later when I found out, the poll display is different on mobile and PC. On PC I can see the exact number of votes on each option.

SindrElf

I listen to everything on the $5 tier except Unfilmable when it's a movie I wanna watch myself first, and the latest eps of BSC as I haven't gotten the chance to start the DLC yet. And while I do listen to WOFF premium, I generally just listen to the non-premium part and then skip over the rest unless it's a game I've played myself. I don't really get anything from hearing beat by beat discussions of something I haven't experienced.

Patrik

I think bsc is te only one I listen to regularly, but I’ll occationally drop into woff and unfilmable

Eirik Paulsen

I listen to exclusively guppy with a little bit of unfilmable

Bill Darrow

Adaptation Decay and Unfilmable quickly became my favorites when I finally got around to listening to them.

Sometimes a Badger

I LOVE the "flagship shows" of WOFF and BSC, but Unfilmable is right up there with them and I keep immediately listening to every episode of RLH even though you've now surpassed how far I've gotten in the game.

thelorehunter

Does Everything to Guppy count if we do "the guppy bump"?

the_sea_peoples

Several months ago, you announced that you'll be starting a Baldur's Gate 3 podcast. I was excited for that. A couple months later, I looked on the duckfeed.tv website for a Baldur's Gate 3 podcast and didn't see anything listed - I assumed it hadn't started yet. More recently, I subscribed for a WOFF premium episode and found like 25 hours of Real Lich Hours waiting for me. Put RLH on your website!! It's now my favourite show.

Alex Phillips

It is wild that you can't access that kind of data from your side! Hope sharing my data helps.

Stephen

Bqv is also one of my favorites.

William Morton

Bonfireside chat changed my expectations for Gaming Podcasts. WOFF tends to depend on the game though it’s pure quality, love the Bioshock Infinite episode. Unfilmable is a great edition.

Cameron Taylor

I only don't listen to RLH because I haven't gotten around to playing that game yet, but I love that there is backlog waiting for me

picklefactory

Been listening to BFS Chat since DS2 (I went back and listened to DS1), then got into everything else once i was caught up. I kinda fell off RLH because i haven't played BG3 yet. Unfilmable introduced me to some great movies though!

erix84

I cafe for the coverage of Fallout2 and listen to all the 5$ shows. I recenly got into Isaac because of the diamond in the rough that is Guppy and i freakin love it. You guys rock! A shame i can’t join meetups, gamescons etc because of the giant ocean between Denmark and the U.S.

Emil Kretzschmar

Got hooked on Bonfire years ago. It was my introduction to the channel. Enjoy Real Lich Hours as well. WOFF when a game of interest is covered. All well done shows IMO. No idea how they have time to make all their shows. It’s quite impressive.

Nick Dizel

Two incredible shows! More people need to listen to Adaptation Decay(based on these comments) it's soo fun.

Mateus Silva

I've definitely thought about upping my pledge to get access to Adaptation Decay!

Sigmond

So, I've only recently started listening to Unfilmable, and then I try to watch the movie first, so I didn't vote for it, but I do love it. But I came here for Bonfireside Chat. WOFF Premium, Real Lich Hours, Best Quality Vaccum, Orb - all goat podcasts. I know those two aren't premium, but they'd be totally justified if they were.

KerooSeta

Yeah that one confused me I was like wait what?

Mateus Silva

That’s how I started! I switched to $10 for adaptation decay when I realized they might’ve covered some Pokémon shit 🤣 sure enough… well worth it. Along with the Megaman animated tv series and all the resident evil shit. Very fun show. The Castlevania comic was also a high point.

Mateus Silva

The Session 9 Episode of Unfilmable got me into horror, and I couldn't be happier about it. Thanks for everything you do!

Scott

Bonfireside Chat is how I discovered these guys in the first place. I'd probably pay $5 a month just for that show. The rest is just bonus.

KerooSeta

After reading Will's comment I now understand how Gary stays humble.

Jake O

Adaptation Decay is one of my favorite things ever So is Unfilmable But Bonfireside Chat and Real Lich Hours are like the goats. 🤘🏾

Mateus Silva

Please include poll entry for people who pay extra for non-premium shows because the hosts have emotionally manipulated them into doing so in an effort to generate additional self-esteem.

William Hughes

Love BG3 and frickin love Real Lich Hours, I’m there every time. I also love WoFF and its premium episodes

Christopher Grunert Pedersen

I voted for everything except BSC and RLH, but I just want to add the caveat that it's because I still haven't played Elden Ring or Baldur's Gate 3 yet, despite them absolutely being for me and I wanted to avoid them until I have.

Lyle Woolard

Only one I haven't listened to is RLH, as I haven't yet played the game and are trying to stay fresh to the experience.

Brandon glauner

Joined for unfilmable and woff premium episodes. I’m currently doing a start to current run for AS and then the same for ES

6r9dlee

I listen to pretty much every available show except for BFSC. Just not a Dark Souls guy! v('- ' )v

Matt Bixler! Hello!

Haven't played BG3 yet but will pick up RLH when I do!

Jared Mogen

I listen to BSC, WOFF and Unfilmable and will likely listen to RLH once I play BG3. I'd like to listen to other shows also but finding the time is hard and those are my top areas of interest!

delirious

All of the above

Will Johnston

If it's any help for metrics, I originally started with just BSC, but did end up moving to WofF and all other programs.

Johnathan Glupker

As a $10 tier listener I didn't know there was such a thing as quackstack and adaptation decay until now...

Alistair Cunningham-Gray

Ah, then it works. We (or at least I) can't see how many backers have responded, only total votes, so I couldn't do that calculation. But then that's very useful information.

SindrElf

i regularly listen to unfilmable, the WOFF bonuses, and adapation decay, and i marked RLH despite falling off of it, and then getting back on it

Cassandra Banner

For example even though it shows about 1900 votes, that's 1900 items that were selected. Only 441 people have responded so 84% of backers listen to WOFF. - K

Duckfeed.tv

I listen to everything you produce at my $5 level. @duckfeed - does your Amazon affiliate link still give you money when I use it?

Kevin Sacristan

Fair enough. Quackstack is very fun btw, even though it's at last place right now. Just for the record.

SindrElf

Love the shows you two create on the network, thank you & cheers!

Velkas consort 93

Because people can choose multiple options the percentages will be weird like that, and not terribly useful in and of themselves. It's more about the proportion of each show against the other in my mind. - K

Duckfeed.tv

Give me all that glorious content! I dig all of the shows even if I am waiting to actually play Elden Ring before listening to the more recent run of BFSC.

Spoon

I listen to everything but haven't done RLH yet since I haven't played the game yet but plan to at some point

Noah Groves

The percentages of this seems strange to me. Like, I doubt that all the shows have less than 20% listeners from patrons. Maybe it's just showing the most and least downloaded shows by giving the most downloaded more %, but not giving any indications on what the download numbers actually are. I listen to every single episode of all of these.

SindrElf

Quackstack and Unfilmable are the lighthouses I use to navigate a sea of media. I’ve been listening for the better part of a decade and trust your taste.

Thomas Connor

Mimp was the best, that makes me excited to get to rlh eventually

Drew

$5 Patron and listen to all the $5 stuff, though RLH and WOFF most regularly. RLH especially made me want to be an ongoing patron, rather than dip in and bulk download archives for what that's worth. Only semi related, the Slack also has been appealing in regards remaining ongoing rather than dip in and out, though haven't accessed in a few weeks for computer issues that have nothing to do with the quality of it.

Kerr

I didn't vote for rlh because I'm not playing the game yet and haven't listened as a result but I will at some point For me exquisite suffering and adaptation decay are my only real skips. I find them redundant with other shows and/or the subject matter not usually very compelling.

Drew

I listen to them all listed here

Jeremy Coyle

We've talked with the Supercast people but we are extremely wary of upending our own apple cart and risking losing people in the transition. - K

Duckfeed.tv

RLH and ES are day one listens. WOFF and Unfilmable, if they are something I’m interested in, are usually quick listens as well, but I might put them off if I want to play/watch the game/movie first or if it’s a subject I’m less interested in.

Ben Sapatka

god damn it am i a stan?

Videogames dot Afghanistan

Will check out RLH when I finish BG3

Taylor Osbourne

Totally agreed. I'm winding up for another BG3 playthrough and will be listening basically nonstop once that happens.

Chapel Collins

I listen to them all except RLH only because I haven't played BG3 yet

Fromaginator

I just listen to the sketches at the beginning of old WOFFs

Ian McAfee

Just started playing BG3 and it has been a joy listening to RLH along with it. Really love the magazine-style approach. It’s such a lovely follow up to monster in my podcast.

Richard Cochnar

If you ask me, Guppy should be listed as the $0 premium

Nobody

I honestly listen to just about everything you guys put out with rare skips

Matthew Allen

i will do RLH once i play the game

Luigiatlarge

This is me too - I haven't been listening to Real Lich Hours as frequently recently, but I'll go on a binge at some point.

Christian S

I listen to all of the above.

Håkan Ibrahim

I'm still listening through some older podcasts that aren't listed here, too.

Joseph

I listen to entirely too many podcasts, so what I have time for changes a lot. I didn't vote for ES or BSC because it's a current victim of my rotation but I love having them for binge listening when I dunno what else to pull, especially since BSC brought me here ~6 years ago anyway!

DonutRush

I have a question about an older show (the Dark Tower one). I had been going back through your old DS3 episodes which is around the time you had started promoting it. I looked up Radio-Free Midworld on Apple Podcasts and it doesn’t look like there is an episode for the last book? Am I missing something? I wanted to go into that archive to have some stuff listen to.

Aaron

Elden ring has become a retirement game for me. I only got about 10 hours into it, so I've fallen off of Bonfireside Chat to avoid spoilers, but I listen to the rest.

Steven Jones

I'm sort of in the same boat. I haven't finished Act 1 yet. But I'm still listening to most of the RLH episodes because I don't think I'll get around to playing it for a few years, and by then I'll forget anyway. But, just wanted to say, RLH production is fantastic, I love the different segments and the music by Gwen. Love the fact that y'all take a look at the actual RPG books for things like classes, monsters, etc. I can tell RLH is clearly a ton of work, and it shows in the quality of the show.

Taylor Bell

I've listened to the whole backlog of BSC but don't have the time to play Shadow of the Erdtree or BG3. Otherwise I would be listening to them as well. It all is excellent and well worth every penny.

Jake O

Bonfireside Chat is how I found the show - I looked up "Elden Ring podcast" in Apple Podcasts, and listened to the free episodes. Liked it so much I immediately hopped on here, and I've enjoyed all of your shows ever since. Love Unfilmable especially. BSC is still my favorite though.

Taylor Bell

I really enjoy thr long chats y'all do about Rpgs. Hope one day, you guys cover one of the Breath of Fire series....maybe 3 or 4???

Joe Binson

Wish I could click unfilmable twice.

Arlen Blanton

Don't know if this would be feasible for Duckfeed, but Glass Cannon recently switched over to Supercast - it sounds like there's a lot of work up front to get everything set up, but it gives you the ability to control and curate separate podcast feeds personalized to each subscriber (so all the shows can be on different feeds), gives you analytics on each individual show, and can handle multiple tiers of support like Patreon can. Might be worth looking into if it's not too cost-prohibitive.

Taylor Bell

Everything in the $5 tier is really good. Keeps me entertained at my otherwise boring stocking job.

J

I would listen to RLH, but I have yet to really sink my teeth into BG3, but I am looking forward to getting into it.

Gregory Martinez

I'm counting relistening to episodes, as I haven't gotten Elden Ring yet (and therefore haven't heard the episodes) but I frequently revisit everything else on BSC even if it's not the newest episodes. Hope that doesn't squiggle your frequencies too much, but it's absolutely part of my vibe.

Dylan Kilby

I do long bike rides on Sundays and the combo of RLH+BFSC has kept me company over 70ish miles for several weeks in a row now 🙏

mwh

I want it all baby
