Did you guys find the ring True Love's Caress and its partner True Love's Embrace? You find the first on a skeleton in the shadow cursed lands and it says it allows the wearer to cast Warding Bond on a creature wearing the other ring, and later in the hospital you’ll find a skeleton in the House of Healing with the other. With that is the diary of a man who had recently married a cleric of Shar who had proposed to him with the ring, it describes how she’d gone on to miraculous victories while he slowly began to amass mysteries injuries…

I'm still a bit vague on the actual length of the timeline and how far in the past the history is. For instance, in act 1, it feels like the absolute is very recent, but act 2 feels like Kethric has been back on the scene for a while building an army in the absolutes name. I couldn't quite work out whether the Mindflayer abductions had been happening for a while, but I guess they must have been.

2024-07-20 20:29:44 +0000 UTCI am waiting for a comprehensive, well thought out item randomizer that hopefully add more weapons +armors. Knowing exactly where the specific items your build needs kind of makes exploring random bits of the map pointless
