Abject Suffrage: January 2025
Added 2025-01-07 03:19:28 +0000 UTCThought you saw the last of me, did you? Well, I've got news for you. Just because Exquisite Suffering is retiring doesn't mean you don't get to vote in these silly polls. In fact, it is now mandatory.
The winner will be covered on the final Abject Suffering of the month.
Here are your victims this month:
Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat (PS2)
Mike Myers, why?!
Lucky Luke (PSX)
A cowboy game where a cowboy does the main thing cowboys are known for: platforming.
Space Hunter (NES)
I'm not saying I can't speak to this definitively, but it sure seems like this is an inscrutable NES era action RPG.
Trio the Punch - Never Forget Me... (Arcade)
Best title ever.

Would be fascinating to hear insights about Lucky Luke from the boyz in the U.S.A!

2025-01-10 17:00:47 +0000 UTCLucky Luke was (is?) a popular franchise across the French-speaking world. My Québécois dad would tape the specials for us, and I occasionally read the comics. Definitely a case of the main character as bland straight man in a world of eccentrics.

2025-01-09 20:01:14 +0000 UTCWe all deserve to suffer for what we made Mike Myers do for our entertainment.

2025-01-07 17:24:00 +0000 UTCKnow it is a long shot but have to go with Space Hunter on the off chance that somehow get fellow Kemco Classic Kid Klown in Crazy Chase on the show.

2025-01-07 15:19:00 +0000 UTCTrio the Punch genuinely deserves a WOFF episode, or an Unfilmable

2025-01-07 06:29:38 +0000 UTCTrio the Punch looks incredible. I know Cat in the Hat has more built in cultural cachet to discuss but for just a truly terrible/amazing inscrutable game experience, Trio the Punch deserves to win
