2025-03-14 15:01:04 +0000 UTCDuring the fight with Raphael my friend got everyone grouped up with the illithid Black Hole power so I could drop a Hunger of Hadar on them. We'd spent a lot of time figuring out how to free Yurgir in Act 2 hoping to turn him against Raphael so we were pretty happy to see that plan come together. Had no idea how he would fight. His first turn he blasts everyone in Hadar and part of the party with a big aoe shotgun type blast from his crossbow and knocked half the enemies out of Hadar... We were a little less stoked to have him on our side after that. Also, wanted to say thanks for mentioning the healing fountains. We either didn't find them or thought they were some kind of trap and ended up doing all of the House of Hope without resting. Good to know it's available for a future modded or Honor mode run.

2025-03-13 18:45:04 +0000 UTCI noticed a weird little detail when I played the House of Hope a second time. In Hope's prison you can see the House of Hope is held up by gigantic magical rocket engines. Strange choice.

2025-03-10 22:08:25 +0000 UTCI don't think you've done Jaheria's house yet on the show. It's opposite the Society of Brilliance and Facemaker's Boutique in the city. It has some great character stuff for her and Minsc and ties back to BG 1 & 2, hoping it gets covered before the end of the season.

Maybe adding more feeds means more work on the Patreon backend? It may be happening to other feeds too but this is the only show I listen to right away (convenient time on Sunday morning). Not sure there is much you two can do directly but maybe pass this on to Patreon and see what they say?

2025-03-10 13:32:22 +0000 UTCOn replays my way of dealing with the debtors and pretty much every massive pre-boss fight in act 3 (Chasm of Bhaal, the run up to Gortash etc.) is "turn invisible and run past". The song works for me because as you say they only do it once and the setting is so mythical: in hell with a character who seems to be the personification of Hope(?). I'm like "singing, why not?"

2025-03-10 12:48:44 +0000 UTCHaarlep's Ethereal Escape ability is a reaction, so a good way to deal with that fight quicker is to bait an opportunity attack from them before you attack, so they use it up.
