Belle's Burstin' Bistro Weekly Update: April 18, 2025 + Poll

PLEASE READ BEFORE VOTING

Sizeable Update, mostly art wise, but I still consider it sizeable!

Art for the basic customers is done!

I love that I am able to get these done! The variety here is fun tho next time I think I'll push for more diversity in body types and gender. There's like just 1 guy here lmao but its a learning experience and one I will work towards now that I have more experience in this sort of stuff~

Also sketching out the cameo customers is coming along nicely~

8 / 15 sketched, with surely more to show next week. Now that I got one less thing to focus on art wise (basic customers), I'm sure

Plans for next week is:

• Work on the cameo customers

• Set up the Freeplay version of the Game

• Set up the Modding scene where players will enable which character to swap YCH with

• Figure out how to transition between scenes without interrupting the music

Additionally, I have a question for y'all. Been talking with a friend and we made a joke about mario crossing over to Bistro (cause he referred to this world as Bistro World and I made a Super Mario World joke). Anyways, it made me realize I had no Super Mario rep in the game. Wasn't too concerned by it, by he brought up possible choices and Vivian stuck out to me as one I really wanted to do but I already had the list full. So I looked at the list and picked ones I was comfortable with swapping out

Those two turned out to be Rouge and GF. I do wanna add them in butam not fully committed and willing to swap them out. Plus I don't have much to sketched except what you see so its not a loss of resources

So like, I figured I'd let y'all choose which two you want me to do going forward.

I have an idea for the third one, make it a swappable character to showcase the modding scene to players, but that's for when I get around to doing it.
