(REMINDER: Tomorrow is the second Q & A livestream! Tune in here at 11AM EDT!)
Please enjoy the full - res PNG and the timelapse video above!
I'll get straight to the details about this since you can read more on my recent Instagram post. I took a ton of screenshots of one of Lisa's TikTok videos and decided to draw them all! This was something I already shared with you earlier, but I wanted to go ahead and finish them up as a way to practice my new drawing style for faces more suited for animation.
Its still quite a bit detailed, and I got a little crazy with alot of the hair, but I am very happy with the results. Some of the heads were very difficult and did not adhere to my method for constructing heads (or so it seemed at first) I'm seriously thinking of doing a detailed, step by step tutorial for heads for next month's video. The thing is, capturing Lisa's likeness was honestly 80% of the difficulty. Smaller eyes and flatter facial features are tough to get right at these extreme angles because you can't just build a big nose bridge to ground the position of all of the other facial features. I'm looking forward to doing more (theres a reason i have 512 gigs of storage on my phone, I take screenshots like this ALL the time) and getting faster. Again the goal is to be like Jin Kim and Glenn Keane - but also like TBchoi, Peacchip, Sam Yang, and Cameron Mark. Cameron actually liked and commented on the post...so I am super motivated to keep going no matter how hard it is.
Looking forward to seeing you at tomorrows Q&Q Livestream!
