Helooo Everyone Happy Friday! (its Friday somewhere lmao)

I have been tinkering away all week at this animated bit in the video above. After the whirlwind last month trying to draw something new everyday, I really enjoyed sitting down and working for hours on the same drawing...watching it evolve over time. New ideas slowly coming to my head, changing things, reworking things etc. Its actually gotten to the point where I decided to make a much larger scale illustration like I used to do at the start of 2020 until about May 2020.

But this time, I wanted to do something more. I've always been eyeing this guy "Dedouze" On youtube. I'm absolutely in love with his work in Blender. I really feel like this might be a cool way for me to stand out. I've got all the gear and i love to get into the details necessary to figure out the software and all that so I thought why not? Im even thinking of cutting up some of my older pieces and adding parallax to them for more practice.

Its also an awesome problem to solve with my artwork - I've got to plan ahead with layers and really think about how things work. Just because something is hidden in the flat view, doesn't mean it wont show up when the camera moves!

My next goal is to obviously color this but also figure out how to get more motion effects and maybe some materials that interact with lighting somehow...like a glitter or gold foil effect. ...
