Second batch of beta testers!

We're rolling out to a new batch of beta testers! I think we were able to improve pretty much everything from what we learned.

In a nutshell:

There is a lot more, you'll find the release notes in the release channels on Discord. But we're not done. We want to stay focused on getting this core part right, but then we'll share more information about our tentative roadmap. There is so much we can do!

❤️ And big, big thanks to everyone who supports us, either through Patreon, by sharing your ideas or by providing feedback on the beta. We're pouring our hearts and souls into this, we're more than happy to see there's interest in what we're building!

Hi bryan! Security and privacy is important and in the core design of the system (for example doing hash validation against downloads and not running custom or untrusted code). Currently, we download Python, pip and sentencepiece from official sources and we don't provide means to run external code in that environment. How do you see this being used as a "backdoor"? Are you talking about official repositories being hijacked like we've seen with log4j? We're really interested to hear more about your thoughts on the matter, if you want/can join our Discord that would be nice!

Although your goal is grand and appreciate the effort. python 'backdoor' to local system should consider security and a means of identifying external and local accesses or unexpected modules through a choke point that can't be easily altered or can be identified as altered. In the world where this will get hosted by ner'do'wells this will be a concern. This is a difference between the make it work stage and a product. Your beta testers might be safe, but you should consider someone in the general patron list as out to get you.
