Majesty of Defeat is coming
Added 2025-01-11 00:48:27 +0000 UTCA week ago I posted a teaser from Majesty of Defeat, a story I wrote last month about a young man who sets off to find his way in the world, and a young woman with the weight of a nation on her supple shoulders. It was mostly written in about 8 days in December.
It's about ready to go into final edit, and final cover work, now that I got over the last hurdle.
Oddly enough, it wasn't a sex scene that held me up. it was a dance at a wedding reception.
With just over 28,000 words, it's a fun and spicy read that seems to have demanded a second part in the near future.
