The Road Home is coming soon - here's a teaser

In this scene, Ray has just driven from Illinois to California to comfort his recent lover Donna's daughter April. She's headed off to work soon after he arrived, so he goes to see Donna.

-----

I walked back to the back half of the house where Donna’s room was.

Her door was open, and I saw steam on the shower door across the hall. Looked too fresh for April’s shower, so I figured Donna was probably less ready than I’d expected. I turned the corner and looked into Donna’s room, and almost lost my breath.

There was a thick butt stretching some well-worn silky panties to their limits, facing away from me. She was at just the right angle that I could see her breasts hanging slightly, still in amazing form for a woman in her late 30s, or for any woman for that matter. She was doing her stretches, a habit she’d gotten into long before we met, and kept with every day. I stepped closer to her, quietly, watching her legs tense and loosen with the stretches, her breasts swaying gently with her movements, and that glorious expanse of satin drawing me in like a siren.

I caressed one cheek instead of crashing into it, and she yelped, almost falling over. “What the fu— RAY?”

She turned around and did almost the same thing her daughter had done minutes ago. Arms around my neck, pulling herself against me. Unlike April, though, Donna was topless, her legs flailing a bit until I grabbed her butt and pulled her against me. She nestled her head in my shoulder.

I felt her tears before I heard her crying. A little bit of cold wetness on my shoulder, soaking through my shirt, followed by those gentle sobs I’d held her through way too often for my own good.

“Where did you come from?”

“Well, my mommy and my daddy loved each other, and nine months later, I was there. But that’s not important right now.”

“I mean, you left for a while, went back to Illinois?”

“Yeah. I decided it was time to come back. I know you didn’t ask me—”

“I wanted to, oh fuck did I want to. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. But I’m glad you’re here now. Don’t even wonder a second about that.”

“I got that impression. April seemed happy to see me too.”

“You know, if you got over your whole cougar thing for just a few minutes, she would give you plenty of strong children.”

“Trying to pawn your daughter off on me?”

“She won’t say it, but she loves you, Ray. Probably on the verge of hopelessly in love too. But I know you’re not really into younger women.”

“What gives you that idea? Maybe not half my age, although she is unique. I mean, the last woman I came for was a year and a half younger.”

“Oh, really? Who was that?”

I stared into her eyes, then squeezed her bottom again.

“Oh. Really?”

“You thought I was going back to the Midwest to pick up a nice grass-fed girl, sow my wild oats, grow enough kids to work on my farm?”

Donna giggled. “The picture had crossed my mind. But I don’t think you’d be patient enough to only be siring with one woman. But really, haven’t gotten your dick wet since…”

“No, not since you soaked me last.”

The Road Home, a slice of life mother/daughter why-choose sort of story, is coming to Amazon later this month.
