Steel Phalanx Hoplite - Painting Guide
Added 2022-12-13 13:35:49 +0000 UTCHey everyone, here's the painting guide for the new Hoplite mini from Corvus Belli.
This was one of the most hype things to come with the Operation Blackwind box and minis that are mostly armor are always fun to paint.
The aim with this scheme was to get something that looked a bit like antique Greek pottery art, which meant limiting the palette to ochres, oranges, browns and reds. It was also important to me that the finished armor look more "matte" so that it wouldn't just end up looking like gold.
