Upcoming - Achilles

I'm busy finishing up the painting guide for this Infinity miniature— Achilles, the Champion of Aleph.
This figure is an important one to me as it was one of the first non-GW miniatures that caught my attention many years ago. Aesthetically it was very different to anything I'd attempted to paint up until that point (mainly High Elves and Space Marines) and I thought the lore was pretty cool— a futuristic recreation of an ancient Greek hero, designed to be the perfect warrior by a super advanced AI.
This isn't my first attempt at painting Achilles and I do actually still have the first finished version of him that I painted ages ago. I remember giving it my all to bring him to life— how frustrating it was to paint something so small and how proud I was of the end result. I'll put some pics of the original up in the Discord this week for anyone interested in seeing it.
This latest version is a second copy of the mini. I bought it for a painting competition but I ultimately went with a different subject so he's just been gathering dust on the shelf since 2018...
Well, better late than never!
I always enjoy seeing how much I've improved and this was a rare opportunity for me to paint something again without having to paint over an existing paintjob. Plus you guys get a tutorial out of it ;)
