Black Templars - Sword Brethren Painting Guide
Added 2022-01-24 18:05:29 +0000 UTCAesthetically I've been a fan of the Black Templars since I read the design notes behind the chapter in White Dwarf 311. And would you look at this, nearly two decades later and I finally painted one for my own collection!
Black armor is always a unique challenge and I wanted to try a palette that played well with the reds of the elite Sword Brethren.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Bronze Green is one of my favorites. I initially picked it up for painting cloth but I've since found it to be very useful for things like NMM, especially in warmer color schemes.
