This Sunday's release will hopefully be the final chapter of the next Richard Struggle book.
This is something I can't help feeling I've said before...
Just for a point of reference, we're currently at a word count of 37,000 with one more chapter left (I swear), and quite a few scenes that I'll need to go and add in earlier in the work. When I finished the first draft of the first Novella, it was only 23,000 words. That increased to 27,000 over the course of the editing, so, yeah...
Maybe my original writing career will take the same trajectory as my fan-fiction one, where my chapters just got longer and longer until eventually they were practically stand alone novellas all by themselves. Will my novellas just get longer and longer until I'm writing novels anyway?
Only time will tell.
In other news, the illustrations for the front covers are coming along amazingly. I can't wait to show you when we're finally finished.
