I am so very glad to hear that there are more people whose entire Smash Bro's skillset is the Kirby rock drop move! 😂 Also, I 100% can relate to the sentiment of leaving education and feeling like really you haven't learned that much at all. Most things I have learned in life so far were either through friends or self-taught, with the exception of how to play the trumpet/flügelhorn/cornet, glad I had somewhat adequate teachers for that one! And of course my British self is very happy about the shoutout to black tea with a splash of milk and then dunking a biscuit (or cookie in American) into it 😂😂

You should start with a personal favourite to kinda give it a try. For example, I started seriously getting into music through Metallica and watched a lot of documentaries about them. It's fascinating hearing what impacted their song-writing; culture of California when they started, fear of metal dying out during the late 90s, the band struggling to stay together, growing confidence to integrate all band members into the song-writing process... resulting in different balancing of the instruments, gain/loss of focus on lyrics and harmony, tone/mood of the song changing.
