Ted Bakes One
Added 2024-04-24 19:03:40 +0000 UTCHere's a couple cels from my first professional cartoon. It was animated by Lynne Naylor and me. Jim Gomez assisted the animation and Bill Wray painted the surreal backrounds.
We did it around the end of 1979 and early 1980 for a cable show called 'Channel Zero'.

I just saw this for the first time a year ago and it was great! I could see the Clampett influence in shots and I could sense the bottled-up frustrations about not being able to animate something like this for years pouring out.
