Digital Painting - Eyes
Added 2023-04-17 19:47:36 +0000 UTCOK I'm ready to render the eyes. I won't do much to them. First I select the left eye.
Then on a new layer I'll airbrush the top of the eye.
Next I'll airbrush a shadow on the bottom of the eye.
With a slightly textured brush, I brush on a highlight near the top.
I follow the same steps for the other eye.
Now on to the pupils.
I select the pupils and airbrush a dark grey an the bottoms.
Above the pupil layer I created 2 '30s style 'pie cuts'. They are first filled in with flat color. I will use them as masks to paint highlights on the pupils.
I select the pie cuts and then turn the layer off.
Using a grainy airbrush I lightly brush over the pie cuts.
Now the eyes are finished.
Next: The glorious tongue.
