Dela, please incorporate Melissa Etheridge "I'm the Only One". And sing it to Danny DeVito.

It depends who is doing the reference and how it's used but there is usually a chuckle when y'all make a reference and I recognize it--I might be that listed lol. Okay...so...let's say someone references a movie quote from the 80s or 90s in a show. I feel like "in the know", mainly because of my age and that we're part of the same generation. It's like... recognition, I guess? I feel less old? Maybe? Also, with the loud thing. I understand juxtaposition but y'all had mentioned that you watched "Elf" earlier. I've never watched an "Elf" because I feel like, often times, Will Ferrell is an offender of just being loud without the juxtaposition of being quiet but maybe that's just the edit? Blame it on the edit? In cases of live theater, though, oof. Also, how do y'all feel about comics who aren't great at writing jokes so they decide to take out an acoustic guitar and sing poorly, for too long, some "joke" but it's not so much of a joke and more of a "hey, if this comedy thing doesn't work out, they'll, I can become an acoustic singer/songwriter'? To clarify, Trixie Mattel is excluded from that. Trixie sings well and is actually funny. I mean people that aren't good or funny but then use the acoustic guitar and song as a crutch.
