2019-07-08 12:39:37 +0000 UTCI was faintly disappointed at the time this wasnt the 'real' Titanic, but its a solid episode. Kylie initially felt like stunt casting but theres a nice symmetry to it. She was an actor who transitioned to pop music, and Billie Piper was a pop star prior to her casting as Rose. This is also one of the notable examples of guest star actors 'doing the double' and appearing in both classic and New Who. Clive Swift/ Mr Copper appeared in a classic Dalek story, and you know, he looked just about the same then!
