I know, it might inspire me to read a Christie book, so if that's part of the agenda, it worked! lol

2019-08-17 04:49:42 +0000 UTCI did not even think about how this would be received by those who had not read Agatha Christie. I rate it less now because again it places way to much on the viewer....okay you want to google Agatha Christie to check out a fact? okay maybe that was the purpose so I give my score back.....

I put this up to the only great historically based episode they have had thus far (The Girl in the Fireplace) as my comparison. I just don't understand the name of the episode was not a real book, by Agatha Christie, so you can just make up things now and hope no one knows? It was more a chance to pun one's way through Agatha Christie book names and show how clever one is and for some that is enough (more inline with typical English humor). It was a decent episode and Tennant & Tate should take their act on the road because they are brilliant together....it is just an episode that could have been more, but trying to figure out what "that more" would/could be is not worth the effort because the episode was okay enough to get through. 7.9 out of 10 high C+ could be a B-.....just my humble opinion and welcome all differing opinions because everyone is allowed their opinion about this show.......the Doctor said so.
