I mean, if ever there was a time to give it... 😢 I'm with you, I was a little confused about why Gwen (and Tosh, I think) were in the dark while Owen (I think), Ianto and Jack not only knew about it, but didn't tell them. And they did all that work! Yeah, that one's a puzzler. It was definitely an interesting, engaging episode!

2020-07-31 06:45:05 +0000 UTCThis is a really good thought provoking episode. I like how it's a Gwen centric episode that ultimately focuses on her trying to do the right thing which results in the situation escalating and ending on a sad note. I loved her scenes with Andy, the fact that she was doing her own independent investigation and her reaction to Jonah. The mother's reaction to Jonah was also heartbreaking and when she told Gwen that she had hope before she came along, I felt bad for both of them. it ends on a really sad note for everyone. Gwen was trying to do something good but it backfired sadly. A few things that bother me about this episode though. I always wondered why Gwen didn't give or suggesting handing Retcon to Nikki to make her forget the ordeal about Jonah. I'm surprised retcon wasn't even considered or mentioned since it's usually a last resort that Torchwood uses when people know too much. Secondly, why did Jack never tell Gwen about Jonah's condition before she brought the mother to see him? Did he want Gwen to learn the harsh reality of herself? Because even then, it felt so odd for him not to say anything. Really good episode though. Glad you were invested. I also agree with you about Rhys shouting at Gwen. Looking forward to the last two.

Tom Price (who plays him) is a radio presenter now and I ALMOST DIED when he was interviewing David Tennant a few months back on his show, as I thought, 'This guy's voice sounds really familiar' (as I couldn't see him) and then I looked him up as was all like: 'OMG IT'S PC ANDY! <3'
