As for pacing, I honestly haven't watched it since it came out, but I seem to remember it being more of a slow-burn, where you learn more and more as the story goes on, but a bit slowly. I didn't mind that much, myself, as sometimes I get overwhelmed with a lot of info at once, so I thought it was good with slowly giving you all the info, but I could be misremembering? Anyway, I remember that I really liked how it all played out overall, so I'd definitely recommend continuing with it -- especially if you like stuff like urban fantasy and Steampunk. I mean, I personally loved all the world-building and certainly felt pretty immersed in the world as it went on. Plus, I thought the acting from the leads was all really good and many of the characters go on very interesting arcs. So, yeah, glad you liked it. And again, I would recommend it.
