Stuffed zucchini with minced meat

Ingredients:


Preparation:

  1. Cut the Zucchini in half lengthwise.
  2. Make them hollow with a spoon.
  3. Place the zucchini on a baking tray covered with parchment paper and season with salt, pepper and olive oil.
  4. Place the zucchini in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 15 minutes.
  5. Chop the onion and the garlic very fine.
  6. Mix the minced meat, the onion and the garlic together with pepper, salt and spices of your choice (see above) in a large bowl.
  7. You can add an extra step here if you want to speed up the process: Fry the minced meat together with the herbs.
  8. Remove the zucchini from the oven and fill them with the minced meat.
  9. Then sprinkle with a layer of ground cheese.
  10. Place the zucchini back in the oven for + - 35 minutes until the cheese has melted nicely golden brown.
  11. If you have taken step 7, place the zucchini in the oven for another 5 minutes until the cheese has melted.
  12. Serve with Rice
