2022-02-01 02:06:01 +0000 UTCI was a huge fan of Fariah too! Just like you, I was so upset and disappointed to see her get killed like that. She was easily one of the best characters in this story and honestly could have made to be a great companion if the circumstances were different. I was really sad about that because she was so likeable too. She helped give The Doctor valuable info and also warned Jamie and Victoria about Salamander. I wish she could have survived the rest of this story. Glad you're enjoying it. Saw this for the first time almost a year ago and had a blast with it. I'm still sad about Fariah though. She was so good.

You had two ******** stories, introduced the Ice Warriors, the Yeti, Great Intelligence and another new monster appearing in Fury From The Deep. But The Enemy Of The World doesn’t feature any monsters or aliens at all. It’s the odd one out. But it’s one of my favourite Troughton’s stories. It’s a pity that you are only reacting to several Hartnell and Troughton stories. Maybe you will be able to watch them on dvd or blu ray. Glad you are enjoying watching Classic Doctor Who!
