2020-11-22 17:10:29 +0000 UTCMaybe the upside of deep fake technology is that it becomes easier to deny “embarrassing” images. When our private images get exposed publicly, we can just deny them as a Deepfake products. Privacy is more and more elusive. Rather than expecting privacy, maybe a better approach would be to need less of it. You can’t body shame someone who is not ashamed of their body. In addition, maybe we could prosecute more people for malicious revelation of private material.
