Rajang

I've always loved how the Rajang embodies so many different mammalian traits outside of the obvious primate qualities - it has feline hindquarters, a doglike snout, horns like an ungulate and a leonine tail/mane. I'm working on adjusting my painting process so I can work at a better pace and also avoid losing some of the spontaneity and rough strokes of my sketches - i've lost too much energy from paintings i've loved in early stages over the last few months due to painful over-rendering. Hopefully this represents a step in the right direction!
