Kshatriya Development
Added 2021-05-06 01:05:37 +0000 UTCAs you're probably aware, the Kshatriya ran away with the poll and as such i'm now in the process of figuring out how to approach what was easily the most complex of the three contenders. The Kshatriya's massive funnel array and elaborate gilding makes it a real challenge to approach and breaking it down into component elements like this and taking several dry runs at it will help make the whole image more manageable. I'm torn on how to compose the final painting as well - whether to go for a more dramatic/dynamic "in-setting" pose or to paint it up as a fullbody "schematic" or concept piece showing off the design in the vein of my Goetia work. Either way, i'm relishing the opportunity, and i'll keep you updated!
