Work In Progress - Eco Knight
Added 2020-10-07 19:34:11 +0000 UTCHi! Opening with a Work in Progress post here, a full shot of the next "Eco" piece. I'm going to talk more in a different post about what "Eco" means and where I intend to go with the series, but for now, please enjoy.
The Knight (who has yet to receive a name or full set of titles while I work on the piece) is partly inspired by the work of Wayne Barlowe - I was looking at my copy of the Brushfire portfolio and my love of mock "court portraits" fantasy work was revived, leading to the above piece. I'm also drawing heavily on both Yoshitaka Amano and also inspired by the work of Monypich, a mutual acquaintance whose work you can find on instagram. I'll be talking more about the piece as it develops - at the moment it's still in the early stages of rendering!
