Sonatine Study
Added 2020-10-20 18:25:55 +0000 UTCI watched Takeshi Kitano's "Sonatine" last night and it had a profound impact on me - I couldn't stop thinking about taking a frame or two from it and painting them. The particular cold monochrome haze of Kitano's 90s cinema work has always resonated with me.
