Thank you so much! I just wish I could figure out a way to stabilize the camera.... Honestly painting like this straight onto canvas without any prep is scary as hell but it feels very comfortable for me and the kind of improv way I like to work sometimes. If i'm outside my comfort zone in terms of subject matter or I have a client who needs WIPs I definitely sketch stuff out. As for the single layer thing - it's more a bad habit of mine, lmao, leads to a lot of fiddly reworks if I mess something up that was meant to be behind something else.
