Abdiel - Shin Megami Tensei V
Added 2022-01-30 07:33:50 +0000 UTCI was truly blown away by Abdiel's final design - I took some liberties with my rendering and eschewed some of Doi's trademark geometric inlays but I couldn't resist rendering her as grossly muscular and carnal - the raw red and the speed with which she moved conveyed a physicality and animal quality that I loved as a contrast to her patrician stylings prior to her last act turn. The gold streak in her crest, the way it frames her face, the flowing mane - it was something I couldn't pass up on painting!
