Keeping Up With The Cullens 4

“What the fuck is this?”Rosalie asked herself when she pulled through the gates to her home and saw the production vans in the driveway. They still had a month and a half until the cameras were supposed to be back and Rosalie tasted something foul at the sight of them. It was obvious that they knew that she found the cameras and the recording device and were wanting to get her to describe everything she saw at the compound. Rosalie had no intentions of telling anyone anything. Especially on camera that would broadcast it all over the world. She knew that she had been given specific information as a test to see how trustworthy she was. It was a test she was going to pass because her loyalties lied with Isabella. It didn’t matter what it would do for the family or the ratings they would get Isabella was her key to getting her dream job. That dream job being working with her idol. To get that job she needed to keep her mouth shut and fix up a rare and valuable car. Two things that she was extremely good at. Pulling into the garage Rosalie took a fortifying breath before getting out of her car and making her way into the house. She decided to deal with this head on so she could start her research on the car. Not surprising she was met with two cameras in her face as soon as she opened the door.

“Rosalie we are in the kitchen come tell us about your day.”Esme called out.

Rosalie pushed around the camera guys to walk through the hall only to be met with six more cameras in the kitchen area where her family was crowded around the kitchen island obviously waiting for her.”Why are the cameras here? We still have a month and a half before shooting starts and my contract doesn’t cover extra time.”

“We are doing a catch up episode to keep the public interested in us in the off season.”Esme lied. They were there to hear all about the Swan Compound. After Rosalie destroyed the cameras and recording equipment the network demanded that they get Rosalie on camera talking about the experience.

“Well I am not obligated to be on camera so I’m going to my garage.”Rosalie wasn’t going to be pulled into this nonsense.

“Why don’t you just relax and tell us about your day Rosalie?”Carlisle suggested. He wanted to know if Rosalie got a chance to give Isabella his proposal.

“My day was fine.”Rosalie told them.

“What we all want to know is what was Swan Compound like?”Alice asked.

“It was top secret and I won’t be sharing anything about what it looked like, what I saw or what Isabella was like.”Rosalie wouldn’t betray Isabella.

“Rosalie you have to give us something.”Edward wanted to know everything about what Rosalie saw.

“I’m not saying anything. It’s not my place to do so. Maybe one of the other people on the tour will but I won’t do it. Actually because we are on the subject you assholes almost got me expelled and blacklisted from the industry for hiding cameras and recording equipment on my clothes, purse and shoes. Before you say it wasn’t a big deal three people faced those punishments when they were caught before they stepped foot in the van to go to the compound. If it wasn’t for my professor I would be just like them.”Rosalie was still pissed about it.

“You wouldn’t have gotten caught.”Esme herself was pissed about Rosalie destroying the equipment.

“I asked my teacher if she would check me for anything and she found the ones you hid in less than thirty seconds. She also picked out the three people that were caught before the van’s security did. There was no way I was getting through that type of security.”Rosalie was just thankful Irina was able to catch it before Rosalie tried to get on the van.

“How did your professor know about it?”Jasper asked.

“She told me it was a trade secret and if I played my cards right I would find out. Something that will never happen if you idiots try to sabotage me again.”Rosalie would bring down pain upon anyone who jeopardized her relationship with Isabella.

“Does that mean your professor is going to bring you in on that project?”Edward thought that type of technology would be worth billions.

“I’m not being offered any projects and I won’t be even considered in the future if you all continue to try and sabotage me.”Rosalie lied. She wasn’t going to tell her family about the car either. They would probably try to wire it with cameras and recording equipment when Rosalie wasn’t looking.

“No one was sabotaging you Rosalie. We all were just interested in what the compound was like that’s all. Now did you get a chance to give Isabella my proposal?”Carlisle wanted to know how it was received.

“I was told point blank Isabella has no interest in working with you and that she would like for you to stop harassing her.”Rosalie figured saying that on camera was a good way to punish Carlisle for bothering Isabella so much. Isabella exposing Carlisle’s crimes was a better punishment but Rosalie wanted to show whose side she was on.

“What?! I’m not harassing her!”Carlisle was not pleased to hear Isabella say he was harassing her.

“You have reached out to her numerous times in numerous ways and have gotten rebuffed each time yet you continue to pursue her. Today you tried to get me to hand deliver a letter with a proposal attached to it when the trip had nothing to do with you. It was about Isabella allowing a bunch of students the chance to get inspired by someone in our age group’s achievements. That is the very definition of harassment.”Rosalie had been extremely inspired by the trip. Seeing all Isabella had achieved that she hadn’t released to the public and knowing it wasn’t even a fraction of what else the public hadn’t seen had her and her classmates all excited for their futures. They had talked all about the trip in the van on the way back to school with Irina offering advice on how to go about getting the best chance at being hired by good companies. Rosalie was still hoping to work for Isabella but a few names she took notice of to apply to if Isabella fell through.

“I gave you that so she could actually see what I had to offer herself and it not going to one of her people.”Carlisle knew if he could just talk to Isabella personally that she would work with him.

“Isabella is the one who told me that she wants you to stop harassing her. She has personally dealt with all your attempts to contact her.”Rosalie was being partially truthful. Tanya was the one who told her but because the sisters spoke for Isabella it was basically Isabella who said it.

“You actually talked to her?”Esme thought that was perfect. Rosalie could now claim a personal link to the woman.

“Briefly and it was mostly about Carlisle bothering her. That and the electronic devices you planted on me I’m lucky she even allowed me to visit. She was not impressed with either of those things and has a horrible opinion of the family because of it. Honestly the only reason I didn’t get rejected was because my professor vouched for me. If she hadn’t Isabella wouldn’t have let me anywhere near her compound.”That Rosalie was being truthful about. Irina was the only reason Rosalie was allowed anywhere near Isabella and her projects. Something that Rosalie was going to ask Irina about the first chance she got when they were alone.

“You have an in with your professor then?”Alice was set on being the one who dressed Isabella and desperately wanted Rosalie to form some kind of connection with the woman so Alice could get an invite to meet her.

“I don’t have an in with anyone. I’m just the top student in my class and my professor sees that I have potential. She is the only one who actually believes that I could be successful in my career in robotics.”Well Isabella saw Rosalie had potential as well. Rosalie was incredibly flattered that Isabella thought Rosalie would have been a prodigy if she was given the right opportunities.

“If your professor has a relationship with Isabella then maybe you can work with her.”Edward suggested.

“My professor doesn’t have that kind of relationship with Isabella. Anyway Isabella doesn’t work with people. Many have tried to partner with her or even just get internships with her since she was at MIT. She works alone.”Rosalie was hoping to change that by impressing Isabella with the car.

“Get back to what you saw today. I saw the pictures of the vehicle you rode in to the compound. What was that like?”Japer was interested in what kind of things Rosalie saw.

Rosalie was unsurprised that there was people taking pictures of the van. They were likely alerted to the event by the three people who were caught by security and her own family.”I’m not telling you anything because they are not my secrets to tell. If Isabella wanted the public to have access to the things she invented she would give it to them.”

“Is it true there was no driver?”Edward asked.

“I just told you I’m not telling you anything.”Rosalie wasn’t even going to confirm the obvious.

“Rosalie you need to give us something.”Esme had sat through a very angry meeting with the network over the devices she had planted on her daughter being removed. They demanded that Esme get Rosalie to detail everything she saw and experienced on the compound. Esme was only doing this because of the extra viewers it would bring the show and the large bonus she was going to get for arranging for the network to get the scoop of a lifetime. Even if the other people on the tour talked Rosalie would be the one they listened to. That meant that Esme needed Rosalie to talk.

“I’m not giving you anything other than Isabella wants Carlisle to leave her alone and her warning that I should check the contract I have with you because you put a clause in it that you are entitled to 25 percent of the profits off of anything I patent.”Rosalie smirked at the way all the cameras seemed to cut to Esme to get her reaction. Esme’s reaction being shock that she covered up with a look of confusion so fake a child wouldn’t believe it.

“What are you talking about? I don’t get a percentage of profits from your patents.”Esme lied. She had put the clause in the contract when they had renewed it when Rosalie was of age. She put it there on the off chance that Rosalie actually invented something with her hobby. Something that was looking like it would happen as time went on.

“You are saying that you didn’t add that clause in my contract?”Rosalie was going to box Esme in a corner and make her void the contract. She would have to to save face with the public.

Esme shook her head.”I never put that in your contract.”

“So if I find that in my contract you would willingly void the contract and write up a new one?”Rosalie asked.

“Of course I would. You are my daughter I would never take advantage of you.”Esme once again lied. She wasn’t going to void the contract. It would cause her to lose out on millions of dollars that she would make off of Rosalie in the future. Especially if she worked with Isabella.

“Then why don’t we set up an appointment with my lawyer and the cameras can come watch as you right a wrong that someone tricked you into committing.”Rosalie suggested. She knew if she included the cameras Esme wouldn’t be able to back out.

“Wonderful idea.”Esme gritted out between clenched teeth. She couldn’t get out of doing it if the cameras were involved and after Rosalie proposed doing it on camera there was no way the network was going to let Esme not have it filmed.

“I’m glad you agree.”Rosalie was very happy with what had just happened. She would now have a way to fire Esme without having to deal with a legal battle. A legal battle that would have definitely occurred that Rosalie would have had to pay out a lot of money to break the contract.

“What was Isabella’s home like? Did you see inside it or her workshop?”Carlisle was trying to figure out a way to get in touch with Isabella so he could speak to her personally. He just knew if he could talk to her he could convince her to work with him. Something he needed to help him with the legal trouble he was involved in.

“I will once again tell you that I will say nothing about what I saw today. It’s not my place to tell Isabella’s secrets.”Rosalie knew this was going to be a running theme with the family for a long while.

“If you met Isabella how was she dressed?”Alice wanted to know so she could make some outfits based on the woman’s style.

“She was dressed like a regular person.”That was actually a lie. Rosalie was pretty sure that Isabella made her own clothing because Rosalie couldn’t figure out the material. Isabella had spilled some food on it and had wiped it off leaving no trace behind even though the fabric looked like it was made of cotton. Rosalie wouldn’t be surprised if Isabella did make a stain proof fabric. It seemed like it would be par for the course where Isabella was concerned.

“What was her style like?”Alice asked.

“If she wanted you to know how she dressed she would have pictures taken of her. As she has gone to great pains to stay hidden I am to believe that she wouldn’t want you to know about her clothing. That being the case I’m not telling you what she was wearing.”Rosalie was really irritated with her family. Based on the faces of everyone except for Jasper they were equally as irritated. Rosalie was once again glad Emmet wasn’t there because he would have been even more annoying about everything.

“Rosalie I need to know what she is dressed like so that I can make some designs to present to her as it’s obvious that with her allowing your class to visit that she is going to be interacting with the public more. When she does I want to be the one who dresses her.”Alice was sure that Isabella was her ticket to be the most famous fashion designer in the world.

“I doubt that she is going to be interacting with the public because she let seven grad students have a chance to see some of her home. I actually doubt she will ever give another tour let alone leave her compound.”Rosalie knew for a fact that Isabella wasn’t going to be involved with the public. The tour was specifically so that Rosalie could meet Isabella and unless Irina had another student she wanted Isabella to meet Rosalie didn’t think Isabella would allow anyone on the compound. Then there was the comments about Isabella not liking crowds and preferring to be alone. Tanya had said Isabella didn’t even like the sisters’ company and they had raised the girl. That being another story Rosalie wondered about. She wasn’t going to research Isabella though because it felt like a violation of privacy. Even though Isabella researched Rosalie. Isabella had a good reason to however.

“You don’t know that for sure. That’s why it’s important that you tell us all you can so that we can befriend her when she makes her debut to the public. She will need allies and friends to help her navigate the world.”Esme wanted her family to be those allies.

“She isn’t going to pick a reality tv family to be her friends. Hell your reaction to finding out I was going on the tour was to hide cameras and recording equipment in my clothing so that you could spy on her and then use the information to make money and gain fame. She knows that you did it so you have already lost her trust. Then there is the fact that she dislikes Carlisle because of him aggressively pestering her. The Cullens are never going to be friends with Isabella. I’m not even going to be her friend because I am attached to all of you.”Rosalie just hopped she passed Isabella test so she could be considered a work acquaintance. She wasn’t banking on the fact that Isabella would ever want to be her friend. She didn’t think Isabella wanted to be anyone’s friend. Then again Isabella seemed to be obsessed with Aphrodite. Maybe Isabella yearned for a romantic partner. Rosalie would definitely sign up for that role. She had been a little in love with Isabella since she was 12 years old. Learning about all her achievements made that feeling of love grow and seeing her in person and talking to her just intensified that feeling. Not that Rosalie would act on it.

“It’s your job to change her mind about us.”Edward said. He wanted to befriend Isabella so that he could get his music career back off the ground. After his band dropped him he had no other prospects. He was basically blacklisted from the industry for what he did. Luckily the case was sealed and it would never become public. That would be extremely embarrassing and Edward would never come back from that kind of scandal. The only regret he had about the relationship was that the girl had dumped him.

“I will likely never talk to Isabella again. Not only will I not have the chance to change her mind about you I’m not a liar and trying to convince her you are good people would be lying because I believe you did all the things you she dislikes you for.”Rosalie wouldn’t be talking her family up to anyone after finding out all their secrets.

“I didn’t do anything that would lead her to dislike me.”Alice hadn’t been involved in Esme’s scheme.

It took Rosalie less time than she thought it would to confront Alice about the information Isabella gave her. The fact that the cameras were rolling was likely what the deciding factor was to telling the world instead of dealing with it privately.”You want to know why Isabella dislikes you personally Alice?”

“Yes I would so that I can correct her thinking.”Alice wanted to know so she could show Isabella whatever she thought about her wasn’t true.

“She dislikes you because when she agreed to let me visit her home she did a deep investigation into not only myself but everyone I associate with. That includes you and when she investigated you she found out that you are knowingly using child labor in your factories overseas to make your line of clothing for Sears.”Rosalie smirked again at the look of shock she put on Alice’s face this time. It was kind of fun calling people out for their misdeeds. She didn’t plan on saying anything about Edward because she didn’t want the girl to be found and exposed to public scrutiny. She would say something about Carlisle if he didn’t get off the topic of Rosalie contacting Isabella for him.

“Is that true?”Jasper didn’t think Rosalie was lying but was positive Alice wouldn’t do such a thing.

“Of course it isn’t true.”Alice denied. She wasn’t sure how Isabella found out about that because Alice had only visited the factory twice.

“It is very true and Isabella offered me pictures of Alice in the factory with the children clearly making her clothes.”Rosalie was going to ask Irina for copies of the pictures next time she saw her.

“Alice what were you thinking!?”Esme couldn’t believe that Alice would do something so stupid. At least if Alice was doing it she should have never visited the factory so she could deny knowing.

“Rosalie is lying. I never visited any factory nor did I know that children are making my clothes.”Alice tried to think of anytime she saw someone with a camera in or around her when she was at the factory.

“It wasn’t me who claimed to have the pictures. It was Isabella.”Rosalie wished she could take credit for this. She saw a sound guy pull out his phone and start typing. That likely meant that he was alerting the media of the scandal. Rosalie would normally call one of the crew out for such behavior but she was going to let it slide because Alice deserved to be exposed. She tried to pull attention away from the guy by speaking.”I will ask my professor for copies of the pictures if you want proof.”

“Your professor can get copies of the pictures?”Carlisle couldn’t let the information be made public knowledge because it would hurt his public image to be attached to another scandal. Especially because his victims were the lower-class mostly poor citizens. Child labor would be horrible for him to be linked to.

“I’m pretty sure she can or at least she could try. Why do you want them?”Rosalie didn’t think Carlisle did based on the panicked look he was trying and failing to hide on his face. Rosalie knew exactly what he was thinking. He was thinking about how bad this was going to look for him when it came to light what he had been doing.

“No but I would like to talk to your professor.”Carlisle figured if he could talk to the woman then he could pay her to get Isabella to not release the pictures. That or he could work out some kind of other deal to have her get Isabella to not release the pictures.

“I don’t think my professor would speak to you based on Isabella’s dislike of you and my professor’s respect of Isabella. She likely wouldn’t want to even be caught having a conversation with you for fear of Isabella finding out and cutting ties with her.”Rosalie was lying again. She knew Isabella wouldn’t care if Irina had a conversation with Carlisle as long as it didn’t cause Irina to try and convince Isabella to speak to the man. The only reason Rosalie said what she did was to save Irina from Carlisle bothering her.

“We need to get ahead of this situation.”Esme would prefer the cameras not be on them when they had this conversation. She was planning on speaking to Rosalie later about how wrong it was to not tell the family in private.”Alice be honest is there a possibility that pictures exist of you visiting a factory filled with children making your clothes?”

“If there is they are fake.”Alice wasn’t going to admit anything to anyone. Especially when she was on camera. Not only would she lose her fans but she would lose Jasper if he learned the truth and there was no way she was losing her link to the Cullens. That would mean she would lose out on being on the most popular show in the world. With it she would lose all her fame and her career as a fashion designer would be no more. Plus all the money she made. If she lost the income she would be forced to live with her parents in their middle class home in their middle class neighborhood.

“Isabella is really good with technology. If anyone can make a realistic looking fake it would be her.”Edward thought Alice was likely guilty but wanted to help his family save their good reputation. This scandal would bring them down when added to whatever Carlisle was getting in trouble for.

“What purpose would Isabella the richest person on earth who has never concerned herself with the public not even to put out a statement about anything not having to do with one of her inventions who she has never met Alice and Alice has no significants in her life gain from making fake pictures of Alice doing something horrible?”Rosalie couldn’t wait to hear the answer to that question.

Esme tried to think of a way to spin this. The problem was that Rosalie was right. Isabella didn’t have anything to gain from this. That was likely why she didn’t leak the story to the press already.”You said that Isabella was upset with Carlisle and wanted him to leave her alone. Isabella probably told you the information about Alice and your contract as a warning to get him to stop bothering her.”

“That’s exactly it because I would never condone child labor and there is no way you Esme would ever take advantage of your child that way.”Alice at least hoped Esme wouldn’t because if she didn’t it would prove Isabella was a liar.

“Of course I would never take advantage of my own child.”Esme would in fact do it and had been doing that for years.

Hearing her mother say that caused something to snap in Rosalie. She wasn’t going to let these people call Isabella a liar when it was them who were doing horrible things.”You wouldn’t take advantage of your children?”

“I wouldn’t be a good mother if I did.”Esme said.

“Then you are a bad mother because Isabella found evidence that you have been stealing from me since I was 8 years old and got my first paycheck and before you deny it I am going to be hiring a forensic accountant to go over my financial history to match my bank transactions with my contracts throughout the years.”Rosalie originally wasn’t going to do it but Tanya had offered her the name of a friend of Isabella’s who worked for the White House that was willing to help her. Rosalie realized how stupid she would be to pass up the chance to use the woman. It would also be an insult to Isabella to not use the contact. Rosalie was planning on asking how the woman knew Isabella because Rosalie was led to believe Isabella hated people and had no friends.

“You don’t need to do that but if you are set on that path you can use our accountant to look over everything.”Esme couldn’t have Rosalie go to an outside source to do the job. They would find more than enough evidence to prove Esme was guilty. The family’s accountant could be paid to look the other way.

“I am going to stick with the name I got from Isabella’s people. She works for the White House. I have more faith in her skills than I do in your accountant.”Rosalie wouldn’t trust the family accountant as far as she could throw him. He had let Esme steal from her this whole time and didn’t say anything.

“Isabella is letting you use her contacts?”Jasper was very surprised to hear that.

“I was told she was very upset with how I have been treated by everyone and wanted me to see who everyone truly was.”It was actually Irina who was upset but Rosalie didn’t want to spotlight the woman for fear of her getting hounded by the public.

Alice jumped on that answer.”Then it’s obvious Isabella made the pictures herself to discredit me because she knows how jealous you are of me.”

“It also seems she wishes to separate you from the family if she is having you use one of her people to check your bank history. Why I bet the person will find all kinds of evidence of me doing bad things just to make you think I don’t have your best interest at heart.”Esme was going to jump on that excuse as well.

“Isabella would gain nothing from separating me from the family. I have nothing to offer her. She didn’t even know who I was before my professor told her about me. The only reason she knew our last name is because of Carlisle.”Rosalie liked that Isabella hadn’t watched the show and took an interest in Rosalie due to how smart she was not because of how pretty she was.

“She sounds to me like she is some obsessed fan.”Edward needed to discredit Isabella because he could definitely not afford be linked to three scandals if Esme wrongdoings came to light. Wrongdoings he truly believed Esme was guilty of.

“If anything it is me who is an obsessed fan. Isabella has no interest in getting to know me or anyone else in the world. She likes to be left alone to work on her projects. She hated every second of having to deal with our group today. I am actually surprised she didn’t kick us out after the first ten minutes we were there. The fact that she made it until an hour after lunch was a miracle.”Rosalie had seen the way Isabella was struggling as time went on to stay engaged with the group and the way that the sisters had to coax her to talk and explain things. Often times the three women would finish Isabella’s sentences when the brunette would just stop talking randomly. It had Rosalie extremely curious about why Isabella acted that way. Especially because it seemed she had a good relationship with her biological family if she took after her mother and grandmother when it came to a career path.

“You had lunch with her?”Carlisle perked up hearing that. It meant that Rosalie likely got to talk to the woman more than what she admitted.

Rosalie once again easily picked up on what Carlisle was thinking. She wasn’t going to tell him what she talked to Isabella about. She also wasn’t going to mention Tanya and Kate. The sisters weren’t known to have a link to Isabella by the public and it seemed they preferred it that way. Rosalie wasn’t quite sure exactly what Tanya and Kate did for a living but it seemed at least Tanya worked with Isabella because she mentioned making a pitch. Kate Rosalie thought didn’t work and just hung out with Isabella as much as possible based on comments made.”I had lunch with her, my professor and the rest of the students. Isabella didn’t speak to anyone and just played on a tablet while she ate. The rest of us talked about the different things we had been shown.”

“What was she doing on the tablet?”Jasper asked.

“I don’t know. She sat on the end of the table away from the rest of us who sat at the other end of the table. I couldn’t see the screen of the tablet.”Rosalie was being truthful about that. She really couldn’t see what Isabella was doing on the tablet or her smart watch after the tablet was taken away. She tried but couldn’t because of the way Isabella was holding it.

“Did you at least see anything important?”Carlisle needed to know so he could alter his pitch around whatever technology Isabella was working on.

“I told you I’m not telling you anything.”Rosalie would never tell anyone about what she saw. She would only discuss it with the sisters or Isabella. Not even her fellow students. Though she expected them to tell everyone. Thinking about it Rosalie could tell that Isabella didn’t show them anything truly important. She didn’t even explain the technology or how she actually made anything including what materials were used. Although disappointing Rosalie was happy to see what they were shown.

“What harm could it do if you told us about what you saw. The other students are likely going to tell others.”Esme wanted to focus on filling the episode with Rosalie telling them about her trip to the compound to take the attention off of her and Alice. That would give her time to convince Rosalie she didn’t need to look into her accounts and have time to shut down the factory and have Alice put out a statement about how as soon as she found out about it she acted. Those things she couldn’t do if the cameras were rolling.

“It likely would do no harm and the other students are probably telling everyone they know and people they don’t know about what they saw. I however will not do that because I have integrity and honor and because I have those two qualities I will not tell someone else’s secrets. No matter what benefits it would bring me.”Rosalie would never betray Isabella. The woman was her personal hero. Rosalie wouldn’t say anything even if Isabella told her she could. She was that devoted to the woman. It wasn’t a healthy way to feel towards a virtual stranger but Rosalie couldn’t change it nor did she really want to.

“Don’t you want the public to hear it from you though?”Edward asked.

“It’s not my place to say anything.”Rosalie told him.

“It may not be your place but you are obligated by contract to let your life be filmed. Your visit is considered part of your life. That means you are legally obligated to share what you experienced.”Esme figured a legal threat was the way to go with Rosalie.

“I know what my contract with the network says and it doesn’t mention I have to talk about every aspect of my life. As a matter of fact my contract is being breached right now by having cameras filming me on the off season without my previous consent. I legally could sue for breach of contract and get out of filming the season I am signed on to do without having to pay any penalties.”Rosalie was actually considering doing just that. She would send her lawyer an email about it later.

“I allowed them to come so they are legally allowed to be here.”Esme knew that Rosalie was right but the money the network offered for this exclusive was too much to pass on.

“That means nothing concerning me because I have my own individual contract that I drew up with my lawyer. It gives a specific time frame and number of hours they are allowed to film me. This is not within the time frame. I also never signed a consent form for them to use any footage outside of that timeframe. Meaning none of this footage is usable without me signing off on it. Something I am not really keen on doing because you ambushed me.”Rosalie was going to play hard ball on how much she would get paid for this because she knew the network would pay it to get the footage of Alice and Esme being exposed by her. Scandals were tv rating’s gold and the two that Rosalie brought to light had to do with two of the Cullen family members. The most famous family in the world. Plus the evidence was given to Rosalie who everyone loved the most by Isabella Swan the recluse who has never been seen in pubic or even given any kind of interview since she was 10 years old. The pair of them together would bring in everyone even people who didn’t watch reality tv’s interest.

“I think we should stop filming right now and come back to this topic after Rosalie signs her contract.”Alice thought it would be best if they didn’t use the footage of her being exposed by Rosalie so that she could have time to cover everything up.

“Why would you want to not use the footage Alice? I mean you claim you are innocent of what Isabella is accusing you of. What could you possibly gain from not using this footage? I could tell you all something about what I saw that the public would love to learn about.”Rosalie was wondering if there was something she could talk about that Isabella wouldn’t mind her saying that would guarantee the network would use the footage. Not that she thought they wouldn’t. Especially if Rosalie followed through and brought cameras to her lawyer’s office to go over her contract with Esme.

“I think that we should not use it because it’s obvious that you don’t plan to tell us anything. That being the case waiting to film will give you a chance to be convinced to share information.”Alice desperately wanted them to scrap the footage.

“So you aren’t worried that they will find evidence of your guilt?”Rosalie knew that was Alice’s real worry.

“They won’t find anything because I’m not guilty.”Alice lied. She really needed to come up with an excuse to prove her innocence. Alice was getting worried about Jasper’s lack of input. It seemed that he was at least considering Rosalie’s claim. It would be an uphill battle to get him to support her through this. She would need his support because he was considered the most likable Cullen beside Rosalie. He would be very influential in getting the public on her side.

“Then it shouldn’t matter if they use the footage.”Rosalie said.

“You haven’t shared anything so the footage isn’t worth using.”Alice at least hoped the network considered it worthless.

“Well then I guess to guarantee they use it I should share something.”Rosalie thought that Isabella would understand why she revealed something if it meant that Alice would get in trouble. Rosalie couldn’t tell if Isabella was upset with Alice because the woman showed no emotions at all during the visit but Tanya definitely was against Alice’s practices. The older blond didn’t hide her disgust at Alice using child labor.

“I think you should wait.”Jasper wanted a chance to talk to Alice before it was released to the public that she was using child labor. Jasper didn’t doubt she was he just wasn’t sure if Alice knew.

“No Rosalie tell us something.”Carlisle thought that they would be able to spin the narrative around whatever Rosalie revealed. That and he needed to know so he had a new angle to approach Isabella with.

“Yes Rosalie tell us something.”Edward thought the reveal would take away from the scandals.

“Alright. Isabella created wireless speakers the size of a penny that can go so loud that one of them could rupture an ear drum. They are powered by a battery that she invented that lasts three years no matter how much you use it.”Rosalie had heard Kate say that Isabella was going to release the speakers, battery and stereo system within the year so Rosalie wasn’t talking about something sensitive.

“How did she make a speaker that small be so powerful?”Esme could already imagine the speaker selling really well. Especially if the batteries lasted as long as Rosalie said.

Rosalie shrugged.”She didn’t tell us how she actually made everything we saw. She just explained what things did.”

“Does she make bigger batteries than that one?”Carlisle was thinking about what medical applications such a long lasting battery would have. He could definitely come up with ways he would be perfect to be the face of the product.

“Yes she has all different sizes of the batteries that she uses in almost everything we saw.”Rosalie had been impressed that the battery was so powerful.

“Is she going to release it to the public soon?”Jasper was interested in having such a long lasting battery.

“I was told she is in the process of beginning the production of the different ones. When she will be ready to start doing it I don’t know.”Rosalie hoped soon because she would buy them to use for everything.

“That’s kind of an exciting invention. It will revolutionize the battery industry.”Edward said.

“Everything Isabella does is revolutionary.”Rosalie expected nothing less than incredible from Isabella.

“What else did you see?”Esme hoped it was something as extraordinary.

“That’s all I’m telling you and the only reason I am telling you that is that Isabella is going to release it to the public. I don’t know about the other stuff she showed us.”Rosalie was still confused as to why Isabella didn’t release her vehicles. She had created the navigation system she used in her van that made it self driving five years prior. That feature alone would sell well to people all over the world. Isabella obviously had the knowledge to design her own cars and motorcycles because they were shown a dozen different models of each kind but she had never released any to the public. When asked why Kate said because Isabella was a perfectionist and didn’t feel like her vehicles were ready for the public. Rosalie disagreed but it wasn’t her choice it was Isabella’s.

“You can’t just tease us with that and not tell us about the stuff that wasn’t being released to the public.”Carlisle wanted to know what else Isabella had to offer.

“I can and I will. Now if you all don’t mind I have homework to do.”Rosalie didn’t really have homework to do because school was on break but she wanted to start researching her new car.

“We aren’t done talking Rosalie.”Alice figured if Rosalie kept talking about Isabella the network wouldn’t use the footage of Rosalie accusing her.

“I’m done talking. Also I expect to be contacted for a meeting with a network rep about negotiating a contract to use this footage. If it’s used without me signing anything I will sue.”Rosalie wasn’t kidding either.

“We will have someone contact you within the hour.”One of the producer’s assistants told her.

“You do that.”Rosalie ignored any objections to her leaving and made her way to her office in the garage. She was planning on making the network pay through the nose for their ambush. She knew it wouldn’t stop them from doing it again but Rosalie liked to hurt them in the pocketbook for doing it. Rosalie was also going to apologize and warn Irina about what she revealed about Isabella. She was hoping if she explained why she did it Irina would understand and explain it to Isabella. Rosalie knew that the other students likely talked to people about what they saw but Rosalie didn’t feel comfortable doing it. She just thought it was worth it to expose Alice and Esme. Especially Alice. The girl was exploiting children. Rosalie knew the network wouldn’t have aired anything unless Rosalie spoke about Isabella. Rosalie was expecting when the network contacted her they were going to speak about doing a follow up episode about Rosalie and Esme at Rosalie’s lawyer’s office going over Rosalie’s contract with Esme. Rosalie was going to push for the contract to be voided and was going to refuse to sign with Esme again. Rosalie felt embarrassed that she wasn’t on top of the issue but she truly didn’t care enough about it to pay attention. Now that she was paying attention she was going to right all wrongs committed against her.
