Episode Two - Dev Update #8

Hey guys!

I hope your 2025 has been treating you well so far and that you're starting the year on a positive note.

As the first post of the year, we wanted to give you an update on what’s been going on behind the scenes. The episode is now about 85% done, and we’re getting closer and closer to the finish line.

We’ve been making solid progress with the remaining scenes left, but we’re also dealing with some tech issues. The GPU we use has been struggling to keep up with some of the newer scenes due to limited VRAM. We’ll most likely need to upgrade in the near future, whenever we can afford to, but for now, we'll manage to pull through.

We’ve also recently finished the music track for the racing scene, and we’re very happy about how it turned out. This track was crafted specifically for the scene and is the project I’ve spent the most time on so far, it’s been a lot of fun creating it. If you’re into jungle DnB, you’ll probably like it. We’ll be making it available on Spotify after release, along with the rest of the soundtrack, for anyone who wants to listen outside the game.

You might have noticed that the character in the preview image doesn’t look too familiar. It’s not a new character, that's just Yuna. We felt her model was lacking compared to some of the others, so we decided to upgrade it. Hopefully, you’ll like the changes. There are also two other characters getting model upgrades, and we'll reveal who they are soon.

Now, for the part everyone’s been waiting for. 'When’s the release?' Well, we’re finally in the final stages after a lot of hard work. We’re not giving you a date just yet, but with just a little more patience, we promise it will be worth it. Let’s just say, in the next devlog, you’ll finally have a date to look forward to.
