Wednesday late afternoon picked up Taurus c I a hammerless 38 special ok to shoot 38 special plus o but never do snub nose blue from f f l police guy I taught in academy in 98 now in charge of everything firearms and training big pd for 250.00 shot only 50 rounds. Wife got a Glock 19. So wants nothing to do with this pistol. I grabbed it right away same day she wanted to dump it. I love these small pistols. Always work great for close range. Already test fired it and cleaned it in a mobility bag now I carry.

Ah, yes, true that. I love my FAL. Mine is also a DSA SA58, but mine is 18" with a fixed 5 power Burris optic, and an Ergo grip.

I've had your recommended battery since the mid 70's (LOL) - except for the Glock that replaced my .45 in the 80's. I use a SOCOM 16 - softest shooting .30 cal I have ever fired. FYI, When my son got out of the Army in 2012 (11B - 82nd airborne), he bought 3 firearms: A DSA SA58 FAL 16" with a para stock, tactical forearm, and a Trijicon ACOG; an HK 45 pistol w/suppressor; and an 870 12ga police mag. He was in a weapons squad in Iraq for 15 month during "the surge" in 2007 and ended up as a 240B gunner. Wants nothing to do with 5.56 even though he once called his M-4 "my best friend overseas." Says he will pick up a compact 9mm for concealed carry.
Go figure.
