I keep a utility type tomahawk on my long term bugout bag, love it. I have that same SOG tomahawk. I braided a 550 cord shoulder strap for the cheesy nylon holster and leave half the snaps undone. A quick jerk downward and it’s out. Dad said they either carried a Woodman’s Pal or tomahawks in Vietnam, claimed is scared the hell out of the VC.
