Personally, I think the big mouth complaining about him all the time, knows something about what is going on.... ༼ つ ͠° ͟ ͟ʖ ͡° ༽つ

I mean if suddenly you find out that a guy overturns everything you know to be a fact and these facts are linked to extemely awkward and powerful summons that shouldn't exist, according to what they know, their entire reaction just seems out of the ordinary if you consider the previous iterations. Not to mention the king is surrounded by experts that should be kicking up a storm. The tone just feels off. But this is just my personal opinion and of course feedback. The king is probably hiding his own secrets but this chapter is going to feel... off until we get more context or explanations.

Maybe if he is weak to his daughter like some daughter cons are....

It's probably because there's something bigger to worry about as a king than his summons, and the fact that his family seems a little to close to the royal family in general. Either way we need more chapters asap to find out why

Thanks for the read. I kind of feel like the mc and king are far too trusting. I understand his ability to break through the arrays, but he is revealing his hands way too easily. Their reactions at his summons didn't feel all that strong either compared to previous times either. The whole chapter felt a bit.... too smooth for the setting imo. Theres no tension, wonder, or curiosity when i feel like there should be a lot. Considering he's infront of the king and probably some of the highest level people around it just feels off.

Great chapter! Now it's super interesting to know about a way the Princess will involve herself in this epic quest "Hey dad, can I please go to another continent with this super poweful guy to do some adventuring?" shouldn't work, should it?

Well, there were multiple little things. First, the whole castle was built with some material that blocked teleportation spells in the area, be it in or out. Second, the meeting room had several security arrays and as the magician showed, they didn't stand together on one side just to look cool. Third, there were silencing wards installed there too. There also might have been a few other things that weren't mentioned in the chapter. I don't want to tell too much since that would spoil the next ones. But, the king was hinting at something with his last sentece. And his confidence both in himself and the security wasn't completely baseless. We'll see more things soon :P

Personally I agree princess get because she would love the adventure from what we have seen from her and it would let the king keep more of an eye on him

Or 4 she is just a nosy outgoing girl curious about the guy that kut her knights sword in 1

I can think of three possibilities: 1. She is a part of this evil organization; 2. She is staging a coup for the throne with help from discontent nobles; or 3. She wants to prove herself to her father to make him proud of her by taking down the organization by herself

I am not critizing here. Moreover reality is sometimes stranger than fiction anyways. That said, if I was that King, I'd feel the hairs on my neck stand up the moment the dwarf got "teleported" into my (supposedly) secure and warded room. Well... maybe it ain't as secure as I was made to believe, since the behavior of the princess suggests that she had a way around the whole warding, atleast in part.

Scheming and untrusting politicians are annoying and depressing. I get enough of those kinds of politicians in real life. I want my fiction to be fiction. Not realistic. That's why I read this type of story and not Tom Clancy or similar.

We don't yet know his exact level of power or specialization with just some hints here and there, but the king certainly wouldn't take uncalculated risks :v But again, I wonder if his calculations would be correct as he doesn't really have full awareness of how big variable Umbra might be xd
