2021-09-25 03:14:48 +0000 UTCGreat overview of optic options. One piece of advice for newer shooters looking for a good option to start with, I’d say start simple and work out from there. If you don’t have enough training invested to keep a good group at 25yd with a simple red dot (basic marksmanship fundamentals), putting more magnification on the gun won’t help you hit targets much further out. Just my 2 cents. Also, I’ve seen a lot of people disappointed after buying cheaper optics. Just get a reputable brand. For red dots, you can get the Sig Romeo 5 or Holosun 403B, which are both shake-awake and have AWESOME battery life for just a bit over $100 these days. For LPVO’s, I don’t have experience with it but would def suggest checking out Primary Arms 1-6 Raptor. First focal plane and has the ACSS reticle for something like $399 last I checked. Whatever you pick, train with it!
