[POLL] PDF Access Thoughts (B-rank+)

PLEASE, AT LEAST SKIM THROUGH THE CONTENTS BEFORE ANSWERING! THANK YOU!

Hello!

As you guys know, I value your opinion a lot (not just your money, heh) and thus wanted to reach out to you with my issue again. You might already be able to figure out what this is about just from the title, but I would be really glad if you guys read the full explanation below before answering the question, and yes, it is about having PDF files stay or go. I hope you can understand my situation and where I'm coming from.

So, I'm thinking about stopping working on PDF's for a few reasons I will list now, sorted by their priority. Please, check at least the first two or three:

1) Around 30% of you guys have currently access to the PDF Drive. And that's mostly people who I "forced" the access onto by adding them into it in the very beginning of my Patreon without asking as I only started doing so quite recently. Barely anyone responds to it (maybe 1 or 2 ppl did in the last four months) and that's fine since you can just ignore it, but you should see what I mean here.

2) Currently, I'm lucky enough to live in a country where Patreon income is non-taxable unless I offer you a "product/service" for your "money" (see 50$ Tier). I did emphasize in the descriptions that you are just getting access to my files, but PDFs are still partially a grey area and I'm starting to worry a little about it. I think you can see how much of an issue it could become.

3) In the very beginning, I added PDFs to my Tiers because I wanted to make my Patreon more appealing when I opened it, and make Tiers more "worthy". I only started with one story and there were only a few chapters in each Tier back then, so I didn't want it to look empty and unprofessional. I never expected it to grow so much. I never expected hitting even 30 patrons. But, it grew to this size and I'm posting chapters for two stories (with a third project in the background) with many chapters (number will still increase when I graduate).

4) Expanding on the previous point, with two stories at hand and a possible third (big) one coming, it's also a matter of efficiency. Formatting these takes some time, especially when there are many stats or tables (and the third one will be full of them) since I don't like to just throw converted .docs at you. And updating them when I find a mistake after making them is a huge pain, especially when also having many sites you are posting on.

So, yeah, I could write some more, less important ones, but I don't think that's necessary. I'll be now waiting for your opinions. It's quite an important matter to me, so I hope you can be understanding. Please, comment if you want to share some thoughts on this.

Cheers!
