Status Update - September 2022

Greetings Adventurers!

As tradition requires, thank you, everyone, for your continuous support! I'm extremely grateful for your presence here and all the feedback and comments. Also, welcome to all the new people joining here and there. I'm happy to have you!

Now then, let's move on to the news.

First, recent TWS release. Thanks to everyone who decided to pick it up :) It certainly means a lot :) The paperback is on its way. I'm waiting for the chibi we always have on the back cover to be finished and it will be up. Hopefully, in a week or two. I'll make a brief notice whenever that happens. Don't forget to drop a rating or review on Amazon! 

Second, return of DCI. Those in B-rank and above might have already noticed. As of today, we are 2 chapters into Volume 2. I'll try to write more than one a week but nothing guaranteed just like previously. After we reach 5 chapters, D-rank will get access to the first one, and F-rank gets it when we reach the 10th chapter. Nothing changed. I hope you'll continue to enjoy the story :)

Third, arts. You might have noticed that not much happened last month. We had two arts planned but those got delayed. August was still vacation season and our artists took a little break. Since those weren't important covers, I didn't pressure anyone into quick work. Hopefully, we'll see them this month. I'll also look around for more, as usual. The aforementioned chibi will be coming soon.

Fourth, audiobooks good news. DCI audio is past halfway done, even though one of the narrators had a small break for the same reasons mentioned above. The duo we found works hard and fast and we will soon be done :) I love the guy's narration. I think it brings the written text amazingly well to life, capturing the parts I meant to emphasize. I'll let you know whenever we are done :)

Fifth, audiobooks bad news. So, we've been on a pretty good track with TWS audio... until the contact kinda broke. Supposedly, we are done with recording for weeks already, and they supposedly should be getting to post-production and review, but I got nothing yet. Except kind of weird excuses which change each time we actually get through their mailboxes, but I'm gonna give Amber and the editor benefit of the doubt for now. "Supposedly" she even started V3, but I haven't yet heard a bit of V2 even. Seems like TWS is truly cursed. No matter what we do, it kind of breaks down after Volume 1. I kinda wish I found the duo I'm using for DCI earlier. Super responsive and professional. Well, so was Amber's team during Volume 1, thus I don't want this to feel like a rant or bashing anyone. Shit happens and I hope we'll get over the weird roadblocks soon. Just updating you on the situation.
