A few comments: 1) For myself, I have no issues with what you've introduced. For me, feel free to keep the race as it is. 2) I find it interesting that people's reactions here are along the lines of, "oh, futa." These are *not* standard futa, if futa at all. Standard futa have buxom breasts, penises, *and vaginas*. They are usually considered hemaphroditic, with both testes (sometimes external, sometimes internal), ovaries, and a uterus. These are not that at all. It's not much of a stretch to say that Valkyrs are simply males with lactating (and, apparently, buxom) breasts. Alternatively, if you were thinking of an "all-female" type of society, the Valkyrs are simply one type of female while the Valkyries are another type. Neither are really futa. 3) I think that there could be a lot of really interesting interactions here, from the shallow (attractiveness, sexual desire and pleasure) to the deep. Consider that, if Bryn advances to close partner or even mate, she'll be having a relationship with someone who, in her culture, is essentially an alien. Notwithstanding the biological issues (if they had a baby, how would they feed the infant?), Asterios is *different*, and different is often viewed as bad or wrong by many.

I love everything about this chapter and see nothing that should be changed. Please don't change it in the slightest.

Well, after the second volume is actually where the story picks up in terms of plot development and reveals :P And there's quite a lot in the upcoming chapters too. I try to balance the stuff so it flows naturally. I'm pretty sure there were many more little interactions in the first volumes but maybe I'm just not noticing them.

Personally couldn’t care less about it, I think it adds a lot of world building in that it shows how drastically different the other world and cultures can be. Honestly, I’m more disappointed that the progress of the story is going to slow down even more with AST having to juggle even more women. But I know I’m in the minority of those reading for the over arching story and couldn’t care less about the sex, harem, and romance themes after the first book and a half. The kisses every fourth paragraph for me is already becoming too much. But again, I realize I’m in the minority and still love the story.

Also I have a prediction/hope for the future. A holy servants of the Red dragon lord!

Ok first of all , Babies! And secondly I hope you never change this chapter!

Pincho69

Ok I had to stop reading and comment cause I was outside and laughed sooo hard! I think this chapter so far is perfect and shouldn't change at all!!

Pincho69

Yeah, this is nearly exactly my thinking as well. Feels like it fits perfectly in the unfolding story, to my sense anyway. Glad the new character seems to harbor sensitivity and empathy, rather than the pompous righteousness I assumed earlier. Please keep rolling with this layout!

I think it's awesome just the way it is and can't wait for the story to continue.

Don’t see a reason to change it, great chapter and neat new character.

I do not mind myself but seems like you are dropped a big old ticking time bomb for some people. People tend to get upset about certain stuff and this is one of them.

No problem with the chapter at all, and the concept (if it pans out to be this) of one gender becoming something like the 'scourge' due to failed genetic manipulation or something similar is a neat concept, with the civ needing to modify themselves into a partial gender change to survive then that being lost to time and survival. Cool setup. Though if you wind up changing it to avoid the whole circus around trans these days I wouldn't blame you a bit. If you do I'd certainly keep the 'males are the bad guys' angle and just go with either magic or poorly understood artificial insemination tech to get rid of the futa angle. Either is fine with me. This is a GREAT story and you've got me hooked for the long haul regardless.

Dennis Erwin

I'm not into futa, but as long as you keep plot and stuff out of the "sexy chapters" then whomever doesn't like it can just skip it then move on to the next chapter without missing important plot and character development. I feel like that's a nice compromise. You can keep your character intact, and people who don't enjoy that stuff can still read and enjoy your story.

Greg Szarko

I'm in favor of the current iteration. Adding more differences between the worlds makes them feel more unique, and not just "this is the world of the animal people, and this is the world of the angel people."
