She seemed to puff her impressive chest out with pride, finally having accepted herself for what she was. As in the past being looked on had caused her to feel anxious and uncomfortable, now she wanted everyone to see her figure. Especially Asterios. (As in the past being looked down on had caused). Sorry didn’t write whole thing but missing down in that sentence.
