Hey, look at that. Progress!
Man, I have drawn A LOT these last couple of weeks. I'm not sure what happened, but the drawings are just flowing out. It feels pretty amazing. It's mostly simple stuff, confined to the sketchbook for now. I'll start scanning some of it soon. For the moment here's a quick digi-sketch of Marina, from that game I've been playing ceaselessly for 10 years but never gotten any good at…
…That is, until this last month when I finally cracked S-rank for the first time. Turns out, I needed to learn how to play boring, slow-charging, turret-style weapons and hold the back line while all the twitching teen players throw their lives away at the front. Just like that, I steadily climbed the ranks to a new personal best. Yay.
Okay, I can taste the apathy. Even I don't want to hear me talk about my raking in an online live-service shooty game. We're done.
I'm still getting up at 4AM, drawing and writing. Hands hurt, arms hurt. I'm not trying to do this to myself. I'm just feeling super driven by this Priscylla stuff. It's probably a undiagnosed bipolar thing, who knows. In any case, Ecchi is on an upswing at the moment. Hopefully I can keep it going.
