Ecchi036-Miku-18 (Birthday Miku)

Hey everybody,

The world is filled with countless interpretations of Hatsune Miku, from official collaborations to fan-made designs. There's Good Smile's Racing Miku, all the various Miku x PKMN takes, and Brazilian Miku, just to name a few of the yummier versions floating around. Now, you can add Miku-18 to that list.

Miku has been making waves lately, though, let's be honest, she always does. Her plastic, pliable, and amorphous form is constantly redesigned for various promotional purposes, like the recent Project DIVA X Persona crossover. Adding to this, an artist I follow and admire, Ge-b, is a Miku obsessive, and always posting something-or-other about the character and her ilk.

Anyway, all this noise and nonsense had her swirling around my mind, when a question occurred to me... Miku is essentially a digital celebrity, making appearances, performing songs, and promoting products. But, as a piece of software, how old is she (it), really? It feels like she's been around forever. When was she actually "born"?

I checked her Wiki page to satisfy my curiosity. As it turns out, Miku would be turning eighteen on August 31st, 2025.

Devious thoughts arose. It was time.

Design Candidates for Miku-18. When I put them up for a poll, 6, 8, and 10 were the most popular concepts. I went with a variation on 10.

Mina also did several of her own takes. As you can see, our dirty minds connected on the "milf-y" design. Though later, as with her "classic" take, I worked some of the standard Miku design elements into the split babydoll-style party dress.

Eventually the design formed into this. I moved the "01" shoulder mark to her thigh so it'd show up in the pic.

Along with the costume alterations, I also altered up her proportions, firming, thiccening and padding out her figure with cake. It's a celebration after all, a big milestone, you've gotta bring the cake. Let's dig in!
