She was @ 8 or 9 and a guy in a full gorilla with a hatchet jumped out at her (grabbed her shoulder) and her instinct was to punch 🥴 well he got hit in the nuts and went down. Her dad gives our girl a high five & told the killer gorilla that maybe he shouldn't touch people as he helped him up 🤣🤣 we knew then our girl was definitely on the road to being able to handle herself 🎃 Happy Halloween 👻

Suddenly we were overwhelmed by a group of younger girls in full panic mode. They were shrieking, clawed and climbed over us, knocked down one of my friends and just kept running. That was so much scarier than the haunted house. Never went to another one.

2025-10-28 01:19:48 +0000 UTCI spent Halloween at the Lizzie Borden's Bed and Breakfast in Fall River, MA several years ago. It was really interesting, more like a history lesson than a haunted house (they don't advertise themselves as one). When we ate breakfast with the other guests, we realized that most of the people there were there to commune with ghosts and that they were traveling New England to visit other "murder" homes. Some of them referenced their Southern tours the year before or upcoming. One mother-daughter pair did in fact look like Vampires. Five stars.

We used to go to that one because they had tables,comfy rolly chairs and there was so much space between the tables. We would just order a drink because they would bring you a refill and bring out own alcohol. We were always wasted by the time the movie was over.
