When I lost everything in the CA wildfires, I turned to them again, and again, they made me laugh until the smoke cleared, and my eyes could see the sun rise. And when my dog died just a few days ago, I turned to them once more, and in between the tears and sobs, I swear there was a chuckle or two. I don’t know if they’ll see this, but I hope they know that they’re more than comedians or podcasters (even great ones)—their shows save lives. They’ve saved mine many times.

Poverty is high, there are gang wars that have been raging for years, and gun violence and car jackings have become the norm. It's a place that has become known as the "Dirty Water" to most surrounding towns, and for good reason. If anything, it's a place that can provide good content for a future Patreon episode.
