The title of this episode and the mentioning of John Stossel a few episodes back reminded me of something. When I was forced to watch stossel in the classroom my senior year there was literally an episode where he bitched and moaned that fast food companies were supposed to display calorie counts on their menus saying it was useless and unnecessary regulation in the brilliant free market and cost McDonald's and others so much money to do. Government is overstepping and hurting companies and blah blah blah. Like seriously? I think the fast-food industry is going to be okay with telling people how much they're eating, Libertarians are so frustrating and cringy. They literally throw a hissy fit when companies are told give their customers the slightest bit of info on what they're consuming. And sadly I was forced to watch that shit as a Social Democrat, I just sat there shaking my head and all the Rednecks looked at me like I was a a libtard who hated freedom.

I would like to see some hardball anti-communist questions. It's so sad that such simplistic anticommunist arguments can deceive millions of people. For example, off the top of my head, I would say that socialism doesn't work because it currently doesn't exist. Only capitalist countries with socialist parties exist, and they have to use capitalism to run their countries anyway, like China, which lifted millions of people from extreme poverty thanks to capitalism. They would have been better off as the ROC in the first place, instead of starving millions of people under Mao's communist policies. It is the same in Korea and Russia. That is why capitalist countries have to intervene before enough damage is done by the charismatic strongmen who ruin their countries for power. Even then, I don't think this is a very hardball argument, but it's the best I could do LOL.
