Get well soon. That must have been incredibly painful. Glad you had such good care ❤️

I have started over with my listening and just heard about the cost of healt care in USA. This is what it costs in Sweden:
One Friday, just over two weeks ago, I broke my femur in Sälen. Helicopter to Mora, long operation, after 2 days transport home in own aircraft + ambulance. Today the bill came. SEK 200. After another week at Värnamo Hospital with round-the-clock service from nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, cleaning staff and physiotherapists, I am completely "starstruck" by the part of Swedish healthcare I have experienced. The organization, quality of care, teamwork, uncompromising care of nurses who gave me pain relief, cheer, conversation, laughter, fetched milk for coffee, fixed conditioner and blow-dried my tangled hair, extra ice for my knee, applied small rashes that appeared on my back . Educational explanations by dedicated doctors. Tough physiotherapists who tricked me into the next step. Since I got home, I've also had a new appointment for a return visit, been called by the physiotherapist, got a new physiotherapist and an appointment with him here in Gnosjö, as well as follow-up questions about how I'm doing from Mora Lasarett. And an invoice for SEK 200. How do you say thank you loud and strong enough? I don't know, but I'm sitting here on my sofa, next to the Christmas tree, with my leg up, silently thanking all of you who made sure I got to celebrate Christmas with my family.
